Not everyone is a natural salesperson. In fact, very few people move through their careers with the intent of "selling".  

But doesn't job search automatically mean selling to future employers?

Contrary to what you may be thinking, you are in sales positions 100% of the time that you are working throughout your career. THANKFULLY there are all kinds of ways to sell and the most successful style is the "relationship sale." 

Can you think of any better place for learning how to expand your sales network than participating at this month's Face2Face? We'll be joined by a sales executive who will not only demonstrate and share how to effectively present your product [YOU], you'll also learn some ways full-time sales types survive those long spells when sales aren't particularly lucrative. One of the BEST times for building network is between November 15 and January 31. For many companies it's the 4th fiscal quarter. For many managers, it's that time each year when budgets, goals, and headcount are at the top of mind -- as are special annual activities, parties, and events that happen only one time every 12 months.  Learn how you can optimize these opportunities in your favor at this month's meeting. REMINDER: As we welcome 2019, we'll be ushering in a whole bunch of changes to Face2Face, as well as continuing some valuable traditions like "THE RECRUITER'S PANEL" and "GIVE AND GET"  


Keep an eye on future events. As soon as we can, we'll announce a special event when JOANNE MEEHL, our FACE2FACE founder, comes back to share her job search wisdom and Face2Face vision for your job search.


As 2019 arrives, it is also that time when pre-registration will be necessary to take advantage of the original $10.00 fee for Face2Face for meetings -- or pay $15.00 at the door.


IN ADDITION TO YOUR REDUCED ENTRANCE FEE, HERE ARE SOME ADDITIONAL BENEFITS OF PRE-REGISTERING FOR MEETINGS


You will have a formal record (proof) of your entrance fee for 2019 tax purposes. Those registering at the door will have neither receipts nor proof of attendance.


You're less likely to forget to calculate mileage associated with today's meeting. Your mileage will be easier with the formal record (proof) of your meeting attendance which makes collecting mileage reimbursement easier from the MN DEED Displaced Worker program.


You will be able to present specific questions to program facilitators to address privately or share with everyone in attendance at the next Face2Face meeting.


You will have exclusive, immediate access to the group database of current and previous Face2Face participants to use in developing your own, interactive network of peers and other professionals in your field of choice. Only pre-registering participants will have access to this valuable tool.
